The Indian Education System (often referred to as, just "the System")

I unofficially DECLARE the System to be the worst in history.

Two suicides of a grade 12 guy and a grade 10 girl over a span of two months? (In my own school in my wing alone.)

I mean, like WTF. You have a fucking life God's given you. It is NOT Your choice to take it out.

You've only lived fourteen damn years, you think that's enough to take? C'mon, life is NOTHING ABOUT SCHOOL.

17% of the world's suicides are Indians, most of which, are kids from 15 to 20. (A third, again)

The most common cause for concern is the pressure from parents to do well in the national board examinations, especially for Class XII, before finishing school. As scores in these exams often determine college admissions and subsequent employment opportunities, students aged 16-18 are often subjected to undue pressure at home to succeed. When they don't, suicide becomes a way out. In 2013 alone, 2,471 suicides were attributed to "failure in examination".
